PWC- Higher & Degree Apprenticeships
PWC offer a range of higher apprenticeships for school leavers as an alternative to going to university as well as a Flying start degree.
Flying Start Degree
If you want to go to university but are also keen to begin your career, the Flying Start degree programmes offer the best of both worlds. The skills you’ll learn on your paid work placements are extremely transferable, which means you’ll be able to work anywhere in business. They offer 2 programmes:
- Accounting: The Accounting Flying Start programme lasts four years and can be studied at Newcastle University, University of Manchester, University of Nottingham and University of Reading. It will put you on track to becoming an ICAEW Chartered Accountant , you’ll complete 80% of your exams, and will be just over a year away from qualification once you graduate. You’ll have three paid work placements. You need 136 UCAS points to apply. You will get paid work in Audit and join as a graduate when you qualify.
- Technology: A 4 year degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Study at the University of Birmingham, University of Leeds or Queen’s University Belfasts on these fully funded programmes, you’ll gain a blend of work experience with the Tech teams during your periods of work based learning whilst studying towards a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Data Science and gaining the relevant apprenticeship qualification too. As a PwC apprentice from day one, you’ll be paid a salary throughout your degree programme. Throughout the apprenticeship, you’ll work on cutting-edge digital and technology client projects at PwC.

Entry Requirements
112 UCAS tariff or equivalent – minimum requirements, plus a grade 4 or above in GCSE English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent) for school and college leaver roles.
