Mazars – School Leaver Schemes
Mazars is an international, integrated and independent organisation, specialising in audit, advisory, accounting and tax services. They offer a number of school leaver schemes in:
- Accountancy
- Audit
- Tax.
You will receive a full study package and time off to attend college to study for your professional qualification. Mazar will also support you with a blended approach to training and development, and as you progress, technical and skills training to enable you to progress to management and leadership positions.
Audit
You will study towards theAssociation of Chartered Accountants (ACA) orChartered Accountants of Scotland (CA) which usually take around 4 years to complete.
Tax
You’ll train to become a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT). You will be fully supported through your exams and will gain experience supporting corporate and personal tax clients. The ATT qualification will give you excellent introductory tax technical knowledge and practical skills and will take approximately 18 months to complete. You will study whilst gaining relevant tax experience. Following successful completion of your ATT you could go on to study to become a Chartered Tax Advisor through the Chartered Tax Institute of Taxation (CTA).
Internal Audit and Accounting & Outsourcing
AAT stands for the Association of Accounting Technicians. The AAT qualification gives you a great grounding in practical accounting knowledge and skills; and usually takes two years to complete. Successful completion of your AAT may enable you to further study to become a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) or a qualified internal auditor through the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). This makes it a very attractive alternative for talented School Leavers who are considering whether or not to go to university.
Academic Requirements – You should be studying towards A Levels, Scottish Highers, AAT or equivalent.
