Jaguar Land Rover – Higher & Degree Apprenticeships
Jaguar Land Rover design and produce high-end quality cars. They offer the following programmes:
Digital & Technology Solution Degree Apprenticeships – these include
- software engineering
- software engineering with data
- data analytics
- network engineering
Entry Requirements
- GCSE Maths (Grade B/6 or above), English (Grade C/5 or above) plus 3 GCSE’s including a STEM subject at Grade C/5 or above (or as an alternative an ICT vocational qualification at level 3 of 90 credit value 540GLH or greater). These are minimum requirements.
- For Software or Network Engineering, you’ll also need A-level Maths (Grade C or above), plus 1 further A-level in a Science, Engineering or Technology subject (Grade C or above) OR A-Level Maths (Grade C or above) plus completion of a higher apprenticeship (Level 4/5) in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms.
- For the Data Analyst and Software Engineering with Data options, you’ll also need A-level Maths (Grade B or above) plus a further A-level in a Science, Engineering or Technology subject (Grade C or above).
Applied Professional Engineering Degree Apprenticeship
You will work towards a degree at Warwick University. Modules included:
- Product development
- Manufacturing
- Electrical and Electronics
- Control Systems
Entry Requirements
- GCSE Maths and English Language at level 5 or higher and in addition 3 additional GCSEs level 5 (C) or above to include one STEM subject or Engineering Vocational qualification level 3/ 90 credits/540 GLH or higher.
- In addition A level Maths at grade B or higher and a second A level at grade C or above in Physics; Chemistry; Engineering or Design & Technology.
Finance Degree Apprentice Programme
You will work towards achieving a degree and work with jaguar Land Rover outside of term time. You will gain the following academic qualifications:
- Level 4 Diploma in Business Accounting
- BSc in Accounting & Finance
- Full CIOMA Chattered accountancy qualification
EntryRequirements
- For those interested in entering the world of Finance you’ll need 300 UCAS points (120 UCAS points new tariff), gained from three A Levels, one of which must be a B Grade in a numerical or business-related subject (Maths, Physics, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, or other similar subjects).
- Level 3 AAT will be considered alongside 200 UCAS points (80 UCAS points new tariff) gained from 2 A-Levels, or a Level 4 AAT qualification.
- In addition, you’ll also need 5 GCSEs including Maths and English language at Grade B or above (Level 6-9) and the remaining at Grade C or above (Level 4-9).
Manufacturing Higher Apprentice Programme – level 4
The Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4) is a four-year programme. You’ll experience the exciting mix of theoretical engineering and applying the technology for yourself , moving between your first year studies at Warwickshire College and a skilled team of professionals at Jaguar Land Rover plant. You’ll continue to be educated throughout your apprenticeship, while receiving a full salary and being mentored by a personal Industrial Training Manager to help you excel in the business. By the end of the programme, you will have achieved your NVQ Level 4 and the skills to shape the future of the automotive industry.
You will gain qualifications in advanced manufacturing engineering.
Entry Requirements
- Maths & English (Grade C or above or Level 4-9) plus 3 GCSEs to include a Science, Engineering, Technology (Grade C or above or level 4-9) OR Engineering Vocational Qualification Level 3 of 90 credit value or above (540 GLH).
- Additionally you will need A-Level Maths at Grade C or above.
