EY – Business & Technology Degree Apprenticeships
EY offers both degree apprenticeships and a number of Higher apprenticeships.
Degree Apprenticeships:
- Business, Leadership & Management – 3 year programme. You will study towards a accredited by Northumbria university, studying one day a week towards your degree
- Digital and Technology -Specialising in
- Software Engineering – 3 year programme.Study towards a BSc degree in Digital Innovation accredited by the Open University.You’ll study towards your degree alongside working within the Consulting service line across a range of projects where you’ll solve problems using new technologies and techniques.
- Data Analytics – 4 year programme.Study towards a BSc degree in Digital & Technology solutions accredited by Roehampton University.You’ll gain on-the-job experience within Assurance, Tax, People Advisory Services or Transactions. You’ll be designing and building data solutions for clients and providing important data insights to EY and specialist teams.
Entry Requirements -three A-Levels, five Scottish Highers or equivalent by the time the programme starts
Business Apprenticeships. If you want to get into the business world but don’t want to go to university, the Business Apprenticeship gives you access to a combination of training and work experience. You’ll go straight into a full-time job with a great starting salary, giving you independence and responsibility ‚Äî without going to university first. When you qualify, you’ll have the same professional qualification you’d normally study for after university, and you’ll earn this sooner than a graduate, with the same career options to look forward to. You’ll be given challenging work on a diverse range of projects and clients, developing a host of transferable skills.
The Business Apprenticeship is available in a number of business areas including:
- Assurance – a level 7 apprenticeship in Accountancy and Taxation (equivalent to a master’s degree). Its a 4.5 year programme.Help businesses publish reliable financial accounts as you progress towards becoming a chartered accountant.
- Tax – a level 7 apprenticeship in Accountancy and Taxation (equivalent to a master’s degree). Its a 4.5 year programme. Help local and international businesses find better ways of doing tax while you progress towards becoming a tax advisor.
- Personal Tax Centre – level 4.
- Strategy & Transactions – Solve urgent and important business problems as part of the Restructuring team. A level 7 apprenticeship in Accountancy and Taxation (equivalent to a master’s degree). Its a 4.5 year programme.
