Cambridge University Pressoffer an intensive week of work experience for Year 10 students from their partner schools in Cambridge.

The central programme for Year 12 and 13 students usually takes place in early July. This is an ideal opportunity to find out how an international publishing house works, whether you are interested in working straight after school (through an apprenticeship), after university (through the Graduate Programme), or later in your career.

In previous years, placements have included a variety of opportunities such as Design and Marketing in the main publishing teams (Academic, Education, Education Reform and English Language Teaching), as well as roles at the Bookshop and in Customer Services, Communications and Procurement. the central programme provides the opportunity for students to benefit from sessions together, such as CV and interview workshops, and we encourage people to learn from each other experiences.
