Aon – Level 4 Apprenticeships
Aon is a leader in the global reinsurance sector. They are a reinsurance intermediary which means they arrange insurance for insurance companies. They have offices in: London, Birmingham, Bristol, Chelmsford, Edinburgh, Epsom, Glasgow, Farnborough, Manchester Redhill, Reading and St. Albans. You will need to be good with numbers and comfortable meeting people from different backgrounds.
They have a number of apprenticeship programmes:
- Actuarial – advising clients on the funding of their pension schemes. This two-year Level 4 Actuarial Apprentice Programme will provide you with the analytical and client facing skills to start your career as an Actuarial Analyst, as well as supporting you through the first stages of the CAA (Certified Actuarial Analyst) qualification.
- Client Manager -As a Client Management Apprentice, your role will vary daily as you get involved in a full range of client issues and learn the skills needed to become a valued advisor to our clients.
- Insurance & Reinsurance – helping clients to identify risks and how to mitigate them.Once you have completed your 18-month Apprenticeship, your training and development doesn’t stop there. You will continue to grow your career in the Insurance industry, as well as continuing your studies for the CII qualifications by moving onto the Level 4 Apprenticeship.
- Investment Consulting – Youwill complete a two-year Level 4 Investment Consultant Apprentice Programme. This will provide you with the communication and client facing skills for a long running career as an Investment Consultant, as well supporting you through the IMC (Investment Management Certificate) qualification.
Entry Requirements:
- 104 UCAS points from your top 3 A Levels (or equivalent) or 260 UCAS points for exams sat prior to 2017 (excluding General Studies) i.e. BCC, including grade B or above in Maths
- Five grade A*- C GCSEs including Maths and English
