Aggregate Industries offer a Higher Apprenticeship in Mineral Products Technology. Your first year will be a generic period of development covering minerals extraction, after which you will specialise in one of several streams including extractives, asphalt, concrete or contracting.

Over three years you will build the knowledge and skills required to develop a rewarding career in either an operational, commercial or office capacity. You’ll be working towards a foundation degree in Mineral Products Technology at the University of Derby, mixing academic study and practical hands on experience with a structured plan to develop you both personally and professionally.

This apprenticeship can progress onto a BSc (Hons) in Minerals Management.

• 2 A levels equating to 80 UCAS points (at least 1 in a STEM subject).
