The degree apprenticeships take around 5 years to complete and you can earn an NVQ Level 6-7, equivalent to a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
The degree apprenticeships include:
- Control/Technical Support Engineer
- Accountancy/Taxation Professional
- Project Management
- Risk and Safety Management
- Engineering
- Digital and Technology Solutions
The higher apprenticeships take between two and four years to complete and combine studying with hands-on training while you gain an NVQ Level 4 and a relevant HNC.
The higher apprenticeships include:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Technical Sales
- IT
- Data Analyst
- Manufacturing
- Rail Engineering
- Control/Technical Support Engineering
- Business Administration
- Finance
They also offer a Finance and Commercial scheme – this is a UK rotational programmes that runs nationwide in locations such as Frimley, Manchester, Lincoln, Poole and Newcastle.
Over either two or three years, you’ll work towards a professional qualification while gaining hands-on experience in one of the biggest companies in the world. You’ll study for the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting whilst also studying for your level 7 accountancy/taxation professional apprenticeship standard and the CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting. By the time you leave the programme, you will be fully qualified.
As part of the finance and commercial team, you’ll find yourself at the heart of our company, gaining real life work experience from day one, giving you broad commercial skills, money in the bank and plenty of opportunities to develop your career. You will have the opportunity of working across the UK within many of Siemens businesses whilst also studying for your level 7 accountancy / taxation professional apprenticeship standard.
Students looking to do higher or degree apprenticeships should have a BTEC National Certificate / A Levels in a relevant discipline/s.
