Royal Mail – Apprenticeships
Royal Mail offers a number of apprenticeship programmes:
- Project management level 4 apprenticeship scheme. On this two year programme, you’ll learn the foundations of exceptional project management and work towards the Associate Project Management L4 Apprenticeship Standard. That means working alongside senior colleagues to understand how different business areas work, how to improve them, planning and implementing projects of all sizes.
- Logistics Distribution level 6. this is a 3.3 year scheme.You’ll join one of the vehicle operating centres or regional distribution centres within the traffic office that ensures the mail keeps moving to every corner of the UK. Leading between 15 and 50 people you’ll inspire progress, improve performance and motivate your team to ensure that your unit is running as efficiently and smoothly as possible.You’ll be supported to do this and study for your degree at every step, through a combination of one-to-one mentoring, skills training, management training and on-the job experience that will help you to become a real leader, who can make a real difference to our business. The ideal start for career in Logistics management and gaining your degree.
- Finance AAT. This is a 3-4 year scheme.You could work with our award-winning Accounts Receivable team, managing a range of activities involving customers. You could work in the Accounts Payable team, dealing with vendors and a variety of payment processes. You could also deliver results through ledger and asset register maintenance, external and internal reporting, and the preparation of statutory and regulatory accounts.Study towards a professional Finance qualification with the Association of Accounting Technicians
To apply you need, a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above (including Maths, English and Science), plus two A levels (or equivalent).
