EDF Energy – Degree Apprenticeships
EDF Energy are the UK’s largest producer of low-carbon electricity, the biggest supplier of electricity by volume in Great Britain and the largest supplier to British businesses.
They offer a number of apprenticeships:
- Chemistry Apprenticeship. During the course of this 4-year Degree Apprenticeship, you’ll learn from our industry-leading experts and gain valuable experience, whilst studying for a BSc Degree in Chemistry.
- Cyber Security Apprenticeship. Once you’ve completed the apprenticeship, you’ll have a BSc (Hons) Cyber Security Technical Professional Degree as well as relevant experience with EDF.
- Quantity Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship.During the apprenticeship you’ll also be working towards attaining membership of a professional body (RICS), which demonstrates to the HPC supply chain and peers that you work to the highest professional and ethical standards. With our support you’ll study fora Quantity Surveyor Degree at University of the West of England (UWE). To apply you need a national certificate/diploma in a business, construction or engineering related programme with a merit profile OR a minimum of two A-Levels grade A to C
- Nuclear Engineer Degree Apprenticeship – 4 year programme studying for a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. You need 102 UCAS points – ideally three A-Levels (at grade C or above), including maths and a science subject or a relevant Level 3 qualification, such as a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma with a strong mathematical element
- Civil Engineering degree apprenticeship – 5 year programme studying for BEng Civil Engineering Site Management degree from the University of Exeter. To apply you needThree A-Levels (at Grade C or above), including Maths and a science subject
- Non-Destructive Testing Engineer degree apprenticeship – 4 year programme, studying for a BSc Degree in Non-Destructive Testing.> Three A-Levels, grade A to C including maths and a science or engineering subject
