Addleshaw Goddard is a large international law firm who advise businesses. Their apprenticeship opportunities are based in the Manchester and Leeds offices. They offer both solicitor and paralegal apprenticeships.

Solicitor Apprenticeship

The Solicitor Apprenticeship is a six year, level 7, programme taught by BPP University Law School and leads to qualification as a Solicitor and an LLB in Legal Practice.

The apprenticeship is a mix of work and study meaning you will gain valuable work experience in a law firm whilst studying towards your degree. You will also be paid during your time as a Solicitor Apprentice so you can earn while you learn.

You will have weekly teaching via BPP’s Online Classroom Live technology and regular face to face sessions with your tutors and peers. You will also have a dedicated Apprentice Manager and Work-Based Tutor to help guide you through your journey as a Solicitor Apprentice.

You will have one day a week dedicated to studying, paid study leave but you will also be expected to study in your own time as well.

You must also have grades A, B, B at A-Level.

Paralegal Apprenticeship

The Paralegal Apprenticeship at AG is a two year programme aimed. The qualification is level 4, the equivalent of the first year of an undergraduate degree, delivered by BPP University. After completion of the Paralegal Apprenticeship there are many opportunities to develop your career in law even further such as progressing on to part of the Solicitor Apprenticeship, qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive, becoming a career Paralegal or even pursuing a career in the management team.

You will work in the Transaction Service Team (TST). They deliver legal work such as contract reviews, document drafting, document organisation and complex project work

You must also have grades C, C, C at A-Level.
