The process of applying for an Apprenticeship is often a long one and is competitive. The process normally involves:
- CV or application form
- Online tests
- Assessment day
Pay particular attention to the online tests. These are generally difficult and you need to practice them before you do the real ones. They are a way of companies eliminating large numbers of candidates. They are marked by a computer and if you do not achieve more than the ‘pass mark’ then you will be automatically rejected. The company at this stage will not have actually read your CV. So ensure you do lots of practice tests.
